Handyman Services

Frustrated with all of those smaller jobs that build up around the house and  never seem to get done? Jamming doors, wobbly table legs, squeaky hinges, new cat flaps, loose handles on UPVC windows, picture hanging, shelf installation, flat-pack furniture, door and window security locks, dripping taps etc, etc - I offer a Handyman Service as I recognise it can be difficult to find an experienced Tradesperson who is prepared to do small works to the standard you require and at a reasonable cost. For this I charge by the hour as follows -

For the first hour, or part of, in your property I charge £75.

For each additional half hour, or part of, I charge £35.

After 3 hours a day rate of £275 applies.

Any related parking charges are also paid by the client.

Usually I can give a time estimate by phone, if I feel the works will take longer than expected I will let you know once I have seen the job. Once I enter your property I will start a timer so you can be assured that the time charged is the time taken. If parts or materials are required it is usually cheaper if the customer can source these themselves. I carry a decent selection of fixings, screws, Rawlplugs etc, usually I will include these as part of the job unless it is clear that more are required than expected or a specialised item is needed.
